The final step is a unique heat cycle process to guarantee long life and added durability. Although not apparent to the naked eye, the improvements to the rotor are significant. The cryogenic treatment process redistributes residual stress in the rotor giving it an extra level of protection against warping. Cryo rotors are available on a special order only basis and can take in excess of 4-6 weeks lead time.
